2016Resurgence as Fundación para el Desarrollo Integral del Pacífico

FDI Pacífico resurged as a privately held, independent, apolitical, nonprofit organization that works toward furthering sustainable development in the Pacific Region in Colombia. To that effect, it decided to articulate and coordinate the efforts of public and private actors and stakeholders in realizing high-impact initiatives and amplified its geographic scope to include the whole Pacific Region, thus giving rise to a long-term planning culture that will foster achievement of strategic projects and goals.

2018We have renamed and rebranded ourselves!

We have renamed and rebranded ourselves in order to become more relevant for our stakeholders. We are now ProPacífico! Our new name is evocative, flexible and easy to remember. We have added the ‘Pro’ prefix, which has great recognition in Colombia thanks to the work that entities such as ProAntioquia, ProBogotá, and ProBarranquilla have been doing.

New lines of action: Regional Planning; Education, Health and Well-being; Water and Environmental Sustainability; and Infrastructure and Competitiveness.
